The warmest of welcomes to Inchree Centre. We are located in the picturesque village of Onich, in an area of the Scottish Highlands renowned for its magnificient and varied scenic beauty.
Established
and personally managed by the Heron family for nearly 30 years, we offer
a combination of self-catering chalet, hostel & private room accommodation,
complimented by an on-site Pub & Restaurant.
All accommodation is purpose-built and offers high-quality, good-value lodgings
to individuals, families, groups, clubs & organisations, all year round.
Set within private & naturally wooded grounds, the centre has superb panoramic views overlooking Loch Linnhe and the Ardgour Mountains. Inchree is a small hamlet, conveniently situated off the A82 main road, yet secluded enough to offer peace and quiet. From the doorstep you can take walks in Glenrigh Forest, reaching the impressive Inchree Waterfalls which drop over 100 metres in a series of steps, or take an evening stroll along the shoreline, taking in the marvellous sunsets that occur.

Our
location is popular with active-minded guests - Being midway between the
Ben Nevis & Glencoe mountain ranges, (20 minute drive to Ben
Nevis, 10 minutes to Glencoe.)
walkers and climbers are spoiled for choice. The Mamore
Mountains are a 20 minute drive away also.
The Lochaber area has taken on the title of 'Outdoor Capital of
the UK', in recognition of the great selection of outdoor activities available
in the local area, with many suitable for all the family. See our activities
page.
The Corran Ferry, which crosses Loch Linnhe at it's narrowest point, is 500 metres from Inchree. It gives access to the beautiful & remote Ardnamurchan Peninsula. The town of Fort William is 7 miles to the north, and offers all services expected from a long-establised tourism centre.
Yet it's not just the sightseer and outdoor enthusiast the area excels in providing for, but also for special interests such as wildlife, birdwatching & photography. Centuries of fascinating and turbulent history are reflected in the many castles and monuments within easy driving distance from us.
A holiday or short break at Inchree provides the perfect base for all of this, or from where you can just relax and recharge in peaceful surroundings. We hope you find our pages helpful in planning your Highland stay.
